Rena HayamiR:Racing Evolution Completed: May 2003 Why:This was the most spur of the moment costume I've ever done. I was visiting my cousins in Canada, and we rented R:Racing evolution, and I thought Rena was an awesome ambulance driver turned race car driver, so I decided to do the costume in two weeks for AFO. How: I drafted my own pattern for a budysuit and made it from thick cotton and broadcloth (surprisingly I CAN move comfortably in it, even though it doesn't stretch). All the shoi and Garnier logos were made from craft foam and fabric paint. The zipper is a sport zipper, so I can actually get in and out of it. Comments: I have a real thing for jumpsuits, I love them! This costume came out really well for being so last minute. Awards won: Not Entered.
