Yuna (Songstress)
Final Fantasy X-2

Completed: July 2003
Hours: 10
Worn:Febuary 2004 Duo photoshoot, Metrocon 2003

Why:Why I first saw the screenshots for this outfit in FFX-2, I really liked how challenging the ruffles looked and decided to do it. FFX was my favorite game for a long period. I think now I've grown out of it a bit, but I still love Yuna and her struggle.

How: The ruffles are 4 layers of dyed cotton and shimmery organza. The tank top was crafted from really comfortable knit, and all the ruffles were handmade by me. The necklace, earring, and tail were reused from my other yuna costumes. The boots are a gift from my mother with added leather pieces to them for accuracy. The shirt is pleated lace, which spandex shorts underneath. The arm warmers are sheer lavendar fabric with black elastic. I crafted the microphone out of a real one and scuplty.

Comments: Keeping those arm pieces in place is the most annoying thing on this costume! I have to thank Alejandra for being my awesome Lenne!

Awards won: none.
